Overview
The V6 upper bracket closes the top end of a 6-inch submersible motor. It carries the upper bearing or bush that supports the motor shaft, provides the bolt holes for joining the motor to the pump end, and has cored pockets that save weight while keeping the bracket rigid.
The bracket is cast and then machined on its faces, bearing bore and bolt holes. Accurate machining here is critical, because the upper bracket sets how well the motor shaft lines up with the pump shaft through the coupling.
The upper bracket works together with the V6 lower bracket and the motor body. When all three are machined to matching dimensions, the rotor runs centred in the stator and the shaft meets the pump coupling squarely. We can supply the upper bracket on its own for repairs or in matched quantities for new motor production.
