Overview
The suction and connector sit at the joint between a submersible motor and its pump end. The suction casing is an open-frame casting with a machined top spigot; water enters through its side openings and is drawn up into the first pump stage. The connector is a flanged casting with bolt holes that couples the motor to the suction casing, keeping the two shafts in line.
This set is produced for both V4 (4-inch) and V6 (6-inch) borewell pump ranges. Because every pump depends on this joint for alignment, the mating faces and spigots are machined accurately.
