Overview
A bush is a plain bearing: a sleeve fitted into a housing so that a rotating shaft runs against it instead of against the housing itself. In borewell submersible pumps, bushes support the shaft through the stages and at the motor ends. This flanged version has a collar at one end that locates the bush in its bore and stops it from moving along the shaft.
The bush is machined on its bore and outside diameter so it presses into the housing firmly and gives the shaft a smooth, round running surface.
Bush wear is one of the most common reasons a submersible pump is pulled out for service. Keeping replacement bushes of the correct size on hand shortens repair time. We supply bushes as loose spares for workshops and in batch quantities for pump manufacturers, made to the sizes you specify.
