Overview
Each stage of a multistage submersible pump is made up of an impeller and a bowl. The impeller, mounted on the pump shaft by its central hub, spins and throws water outward through its vanes; the bowl surrounds it and channels the water to the next stage. Stacking several stages builds up the pressure needed to lift water from deep borewells.
Our impeller bowl sets have a bright, polished finish and machined hubs and rims. A good match between impeller and bowl keeps running clearances even, which supports steady pump performance.
Stage parts wear over time, especially where the borewell water carries sand. Replacing worn impellers and bowls during an overhaul can bring a pump back closer to its original performance, so workshops often keep matched sets in stock for common pump models.
