Overview
A threaded flange screws onto a threaded pipe end and then bolts to a matching flange, giving a joint that can be taken apart for maintenance. In pump installations, flanges are used at the delivery side to connect the pump or rising main to the surface pipework, valves and fittings.
Our flange has a raised hub around a threaded central bore and four evenly spaced bolt holes. Faces and threads are machined so that the flange seals well against its gasket and screws on cleanly.
Flanged joints are useful wherever a pump or valve may need to be removed for service. Instead of cutting pipe, the installer simply unbolts the flange, which saves time during maintenance. We can produce flanges to match your existing pipe sizes and bolt patterns, in quantities to suit both projects and regular supply.
