Overview
The V6 Pump Kit (SS 304) is a set of stainless steel castings used to build the outer structure of a 6-inch borewell submersible pump. The kit includes an open-frame suction casing, which joins the pump end to the motor and lets water enter through its side openings, and threaded delivery (discharge) castings that connect the top of the pump to the rising main.
SS 304 is widely used for submersible pump parts because it resists corrosion in borewell water far better than plain steel or cast iron. The castings are machined on their locating diameters and threads so the pump assembles correctly.
