Overview
The V6 coupling joins the submersible motor shaft to the pump shaft in a 6-inch borewell submersible pump set. Every rotation of the motor passes through this part, so it must fit both shafts closely and stay aligned under load. Our coupling is a tubular, shouldered component with a keyed internal bore, turned on CNC machines in Rajkot.
A poorly fitted coupling can cause vibration, uneven wear on bushes and early failure of the shaft ends. Machining the bore and outer diameters in one set-up helps keep the coupling concentric so motor and pump run in line.
