Overview
Slotted shaft adapter sleeves are cylindrical bushes with a keyway slot cut along the bore. They are used to fit a component onto a shaft of a different size, to protect a shaft where it passes through a seal or bush, or to take wear that would otherwise fall on the shaft itself. Shree Gelma Industries produces these sleeves in several diameters and lengths, from short bushes to longer sleeves with a stepped or grooved end.
All sleeves are turned on CNC lathes, which keeps the bore concentric with the outer surface and the ends square.
